Nigeria is the first Global South country to conduct a country-led evaluation of the SDGs. The evaluation has been planned in consultation with stakeholders and the ToRs have been published (link) for the evaluation of health and education sectors.

Nigeria also participated in the High level Political Forum side event: Evaluation to connect the SDGs with national priorities: Learning from Finland and Nigeria held on 17 July 2017 in New York.
